Believe in Yourself

Happy Wednesday!
It's time for another challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More. This week we have this gorgeous picture below for inspiration.

To make my card I started with a side folding note card and lots of funs sprays and distress oxide inks, lets just say I got pretty inky making his one.
To make the background I used the Kaleidoscope stencils by Altenew and some Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet distress oxide ink. I started in the middle with the Peacock Feathers and the  sponged around the outside with Wilted Violet.
Next I spritzed them with water and dabbed with a paper towel, then sprayed some gold and mint color shine by Heidi Swap across the front. I stamped the unicorn image from the set Unicorn Awesomeness by Concord & 9th on some Shimmery White paper by Stampin Up and cut it out using the coordinating die then colored it using Copic markers.
After the background was dry I added the unicorn to the front with foam tape. To finish the card I stamped the greeting also from the Unicorn Awesomeness set and embossed it with white embossing powder.

I am also entering this one in the Anything Goes challenge at

Rainbow Maker Day One

I am taking a class at Online Card Classes called Rainbow Maker. Actually this class was all last week but schedule didn't allow me the time to work on any of the cards because I was super busy working on the Dare to Get Dirty challenge cards. So here is a card from Day one only 6 days late :)
This is a case of the card that Laura Bassen created in the class and let me tell ya hers looks way better than mine.
To make my card I used a top folding note card and a panel cut down with a stitched die. For the balloons I used the new balloon die by Concord & 9th along with a stencil by Neat & Tangled. The happy is from the Happy Words set by Concord & 9th and the birthday is also by Concord & 9th from the Hooray set.
To finish off the card I added some clear sequins to give it a little sparkle.

I am also entering this one in the challenge of Anything Goes at

Thanks A Melon

Can you believe that school is starting back already? seems like it gets earlier each year. Since summer is almost over I decided to make another watermelon card. I made this one for a couple challenges. The dare to get Dirty challenges over on Splitcoast Stampers and the CASology challenge of Juicy, because watermelon is definitely juicy and so yummy!

To make my card I started with a top folding white card base and some bristol paper because I have found that the distress oxide inks blend very well on this type paper.
I started by blending Lucky Clover at the bottom, then a strip of Twisted Citron and finishing it with Candy Apple, after i got it all the oxide inks blended out I used the Mini Scenery: Spotty stamp by Winnie & Walter. This stamp is the perfect watermelon stamp, don't you agree? To finish the card I cut the panel down with a stitched die by Lil Inker Designs and added the greeting from the Orange You Sweet set by Concord & 9th.

Seas the Day

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS, our sponsor for this challenge is STAMPlorations with a $10 voucher to their store.

I just returned from a vacation at the beach so I had to break out this beauty set and ink it up.

To make my card I started with a white top folding A2 sized card base, a stencil and answer set by Stampin Up, So Many Shells
I Stamped the shell image in Pink Pirouette and Shara Sand and then masked it off and placed the stencil on top and sponged Salty Ocean distress ink over a section of the card. To finish the card I stamped the greeting also from the So Many Shells set.
One layer cards are simple and fast to make I should do more of them!

Deck The Halls

Well we have 145 days until Christmas and only 20 weeks! Can you believe it, where has this year gone? I am getting a head start in my Christmas card making and the new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More is helping me out.

To make my card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I used Carols of Christmas set from the upcoming Holiday catalog from Stampin Up that is available now, along with an older set by Stampin Up, Christmas Pines. I sponged the top corner using Dapper Denim and stamped the pine from the set Christmas Pines several time using the MISTI stamping tool. I stamped the ornaments in different colors and cut them out using the coordinating dies
